Ball Valve:
Ball valves are popular among residential users, but they are also widely used in industries. The ball valves get their name from the disk inside them that resembles a ball. To stop the flow, the disk covers the valve opening. A ball valve controls the flow of gas, liquid, and semi-liquid substances.

Toggle Valve:

Gate Valve:

Globe Valve:

Globe valves have a vertical shaft connected to a pivot that can be swiveled by rotating the rod. A pivot is sandwiched between two horizontal rods that overlap. Check Valve:
By allowing the liquid to flow unidirectionally, check valves have a limited scope. This is why they are also known as Non-return Valves (NRV). Generally, they are used when the reverse flow of fluid results in unfavorable conditions. Therefore, they are widely used in the petrochemical industry and in water management.
There is no doubt that check valves have a tremendous ability to withstand pressure. To prevent liquid from flowing backward, heavy-duty metallic stoppers are used. The pressure threshold of a check valve is also determined by the quality of the check valve manufacturer.
Butterfly Valve:
Because of their appearance, butterfly valves are called butterfly valves. They have a double-branched shaft that can be rotated to allow or block liquid flow.
